There is so much going on. This morning I found out that Osama bin Laden is dead. Then I read Arne Duncan’s open letter to teachers. What a day!

(Please read this while remembering that integrity is the alignment of words with behavior. By this definition, Duncan shows no integrity. Policy that denigrates teachers, takes away their power through centralized decision making, assesses them through one dimensional high stakes tests,and then speaks against these very same policies in words only is reprehensible and manipulative.
